"One Flight Stand" by Saladin Patterson picks up the Showbiz sponsored Golden box[ur]shorts™ trophy during the 3rd Awards Night at the New Beverly Cinema. Congratulations to all the winner that further include FUJIFILM sponsored 2nd place "I'm Gay", the musical co-directed by Michael Bodie and Silas Howard. Blake Snyder's bronze box[u]shorts™ shorts went to Maya Zimmermann for her film "12 x 12". And last but not least... Michael DelVecchio picked up the Audience Award sponsored by Avid for his political short film "July 17th, 1996".

box[ur]shorts™ Film Festival is now playing at Alpharetta based Italian family-friendly restaurant Pasta Vino where they serve everything from delicious pastas, pizzas and calzones to specialty chicken, veal and seafood dishes. The 2008 box[ur]shorts™ Film Festival, a yearlong short film exhibition taking place internationally at restaurants, bars, coffee houses and laundromats, announced today it will hold its third annual awards night at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 7:30pm. Festival judges James Bond director Martin Campbell and Cloverfield producing partner Shannon Riggs are among the industry VIPs invited to attend.

After the unfortunate close-down of Karma Coffeehouse in Hollywood, box[ur]shorts™ Film Festival is missing one of the jukeboxes. When trying to pick up our 10.8 inch-jukebox, the festival was informed that someone had already stopped by to get it. Thief wanted! The official reward for returning the box is a pair of Golden undies that can otherwise only be won by the top film in the competition. See pictures below.
