box[ur]shorts™ Film Festival is now playing at Quo Vadis - musicbar & lounge. This jukebox is our new prototype that was unveiled during the Jugendfilmtage festival in Zürich. Quo Vadis is conveniently located at the Bülach train station. Check it out - why not catch a short film while waiting for your train to arrive?
Starting on April 1st, 2010 we have a new location that plays the entire library of box[ur]short films in one box! The first digital box of our festival was introduced at the Jugendfilmtage in Zürich on March 12th (more), making a splash among festival goers who enjoyed watching and rating the shorts. For the first time, the jukebox audience is able to cast their ballots for the best films and have a say in who will pick up the audience award. More features include filters such as "most watched", "highest rated" as well as a much larger display than what the first series of jukeboxes offered.
The jukebox is put together out of a number of VHS tapes. The DVD player has been replaced by a computer, thanks to the hard work of our software engineer. We are planning to include more features as we learn more about the festival audience and filmmakers.
