From cave paintings to the printing press, from movie theatres to television, and from youtube to the iPod, stories have always been presented via seminal media outlets that improve the connection between the storyteller and the audience. box[ur]shorts™ is a yearlong short film exhibition taking place inside movie jukeboxes at restaurants, bars, coffee houses and laundromats in cities from Los Angeles to Park City and New York to Basel, Switzerland. It is an innovative approach to watching films that becomes part of viewer's everyday experience -- something one can do while waiting for a table at a restaurant or hanging out at a favorite coffee house. box[ur]shorts™ is presented by A Bale Pictures, Inc. and kicks off its film festival competition with a red carpet awards night in Los Angeles and goes on to screen the movies throughout the year in its movie jukebox network.
